With the seasoned Terry Johns at the helm, the Sanibel Harbor Princess was sailing the calm waters between Lighthouse Beach and Fort Myers Beach for an evening dinner cruise. Unaware of the remarkable occurrence that was about to take place, the passengers were taking in the beautiful scenery and the peaceful atmosphere on board.

A couple on the deck noticed something out of the ordinary as the yacht floated smoothly through the sea. A dog was struggling mightily to stay afloat in the rough sea.
